In a recent broadcast, conspiracy theorist Alex Jones accused Vice President Kamala Harris of wielding “weather weapons” to control hurricanes, specifically blaming her for Hurricane Milton.
Kicking off his show, Jones promised a deep dive into his so-called evidence of government weather manipulation, complete with interviews and documents that, he claimed, support his theory.
Jones declared that the Biden-Harris administration could manipulate hurricanes using technology like Doppler radar, advanced lasers, and even large aircraft.
“They have the power to easily control hurricanes,” he asserted, adding that this was merely “old technology” and that more advanced methods exist.
According to Jones, this technology is installed on ships and oil drilling platforms and could easily divert a storm’s path or reduce its impact.
He even tied his theory back to 9/11, claiming that a hurricane was mysteriously diverted away from the U.S. coast that day to avoid interfering with the supposed plans of the “deep state.
Jones comments come as some conservatives, including Marjorie Taylor Greene, suggest recent hurricanes may be the result of targeted, artificial technology, part of a larger narrative that federal aid is being withheld from Republican-leaning areas and prioritized for undocumented immigrants.
Scientists and meteorologists, however, refute these claims, emphasizing that it is currently impossible to control or redirect weather events like hurricanes.
“Marjorie Taylor Greene’s conspiracy theories are sickening, but she does it to distract from her failed effort to block crucial funding for Fema as Hurricane Helene was making landfall,” Harris wrote in a post on X.
