In a recent speech, Vice President Kamala Harris took aim at former President Donald Trump, calling him “too weak and unstable” to lead the country.

Speaking at a rally in North Carolina, Harris criticized Trump for not providing a detailed medical report, a day after she shared her own health assessment.

He’s not being transparent with the voters,” Harris stated, questioning Trump’s reluctance to release his medical records. She pointed out that Trump has avoided certain public engagements, including the traditional “60 Minutes” interview and additional debates, prompting her to question his openness with the American people.

Harris speculated on whether his team might be trying to keep him out of the public eye. “It makes you wonder, why does his staff want him to hide away?” she pondered.

One must question: Are they afraid that people will see that he is too weak and unstable to lead America?

Harris’ comments on Trump’s transparency with his health have been a recurring theme. She noted that while every modern presidential candidate has released their health information, Trump has not done so.

It’s obvious that his team at least does not want the American people to see everything about who he is,” she told reporters. She implied that Trump’s team might be concerned about his suitability for the presidency, suggesting that they might not want voters to have full insight into his fitness for the role.

On the same day, Harris disclosed her own health status through a memo signed by her physician, Dr. Joshua Simmons, which described her overall health as “excellent.”

US Vice President Kamala Harris has had an impressive fundraising record since becoming the Democratic presidential candidate.

According to the memo, her only minor conditions include seasonal allergies and slight nearsightedness. The memo emphasized that she possesses the “physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.”

Trump, in contrast, has provided limited information on his health. His most recent health update was a brief letter from last November, written by a physician who is also a member of his golf club in New Jersey.

The letter described him as being in “excellent” health but lacked specifics, which has raised concerns about his overall fitness, particularly regarding his cognitive abilities.

Amid recent speeches where Trump appeared to slur words and become confused, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who previously supported Trump, has spoken out about his concerns.

I saw decline in his skills in ’20 from ’16,” Christie remarked in an interview. “And you see significant declines still,” he added, reflecting on the changes he’s observed in Trump over the years.

As the public’s interest in the health and transparency of candidates continues to grow, Harris’ criticisms are likely to keep Trump’s medical disclosures, or lack thereof, under scrutiny.
